Holiday Card FAQ

When should I order and is there a deadline?

As soon as possible! I have a tentative deadline of December 5th. Please note that if you wait until December 5th to order, there may be longer turnaround times and shipping delays.

What's the turnaround time?

If you submit your order with your picture(s) ready to go, my goal is to have a proof to you in 2-3 business days. After final proof approval, turnaround time to have your cards in hand is about 1 week(ish). Please note that shipping times may vary, especially closer to the deadline. There is an option to have your order rush printed and/or rush shipped if you'd like your cards sooner and I can send a separate invoice for this after you place your order.

Do I have to have my pictures ready to place my order?

No - you can go ahead and place your order and email me your picture(s) once they're ready! allison@socialstudiollc.com

How many pictures can I have on my cards?

1 photo works best for the front of the cards but I'm happy to do multiple on the back!

Are your cards customizable?

For the most part, yes! All text (ie - greeting, names, ages, etc) is totally customizable. If you see a portrait style card but would rather have it landscape style, I will do my best to redesign to fit your chosen style. I'm also happy to do a birth announcement, additional photos and/or greeting on the back of the cards!

Do you print the cards yourself?

All the cards are designed by me but I work with a professional printing company to do all my printing. They are wonderful and produce high quality paper products!

Can you print on the envelopes?

Yes! I offer both return address printing (back flap of the envelope) and recipient address printing (front center of the envelope) for an additional cost. If you choose either of these services when you order, I will send you a separate invoice to pay. 

How do I send you my address list for recipient address printing?

You can email me an excel sheet or google sheet or I can email you a template but I need them in this format:

Column 1: Recipient name

Column 2: Street (apartment or unit number, too)

Column 3: City, state

Column 4: Zip code

I am not responsible for misspellings or incorrect addresses so be sure to type them exactly how you want them printed on the envelopes!

Will this collection ever go on sale or do you have any coupon codes?

I will not be offering any sales or coupon codes for my Holiday Card Collection. I am a one-woman show and I've spent countless hours outside of my full-time job putting this collection together. I am a small business, not a Vistaprint or Zazzle. Every order truly means the world to me and your support helps keep small, creative businesses like mine going!
